In May 2005 Businesshealth Ltd outsourced its software development department to Surfraider Solutions. Our main project to date has been to take over the development of Businesshealth’s website Askwell.com.
The Problem
Previously wellbeing questionnaires were printed and posted out to companies to be completed by their employees. These questionnaires were then posted back to Businesshealth. Staff then used an application developed in Delphi along with OCR readers to parse the questionnaires and extract the data. This method was very time consuming and costly.
The Solution
The solution was to automate this process and to do this Askwell.com was developed. Askwell is a member only wellbeing website which covers aspects such as sleep, weight management, stress, nutrition, physical activity and work life balance. The website is easy to use, interactive and aims to support you in achieving your wellbeing goals by providing you access to a library of validated information sheets and programmes.
The website currently has over 100,000 regular users from all walks of life.
Employees are issued an askwell id and password. This enables employees to complete their wellbeing questionnaires online, immediately see their wellbeing report and eliminates the need for manual processes’.
Askwell.com was developed using DotNetNuke.
